Arjun Vs Karan
Arjun had no goal, while Karan had one, he wanted to be superior.
While Arjun had nothing in mind, he had not really taken oath to kill any kaurav. He was with no goal
So he was simply there, and thats the reason he said why should i fight.
Karan was eager to fight and could not wait till his turn came.
This was key difference between these two.
Thats why arjun was told what to do, he was told to fight because you have to fight, no reason, just do it as karm(duty), while karna wanted to fight for pride, to be called superior, he was expecting returns.
Arjun was clue less, he was driven, a mindless, self less tool.
Karna was self driven, he decided to follow his mind, his commitments, his words, as "he" spoke them.
Arjun was words less, commitment less, empty.
He see what is asked, he had no mind of his own.
He see birds eye if it was asked. He see nothing else. He was perfect follower.
He was tunable. He was empty. and thus was choosen. He was transformable, to solider, dancer or anything. He lived with no past.
Karan was headstrong. He decided not to give away his sufferings, he had revenge in mind, he always wanted to prove something, he was recognition, he gave importance to others opinion, he looked for respect as he deserved.
He was greatest but then fell in trap as people didn't call him so.
Greatest needs no recognition, want for recognition is trap.
Truth needs no expression, wrapping it in words, views, opinion, expression kills it.
It is ones own decision to see who was greater among two!
