One of my friend wrote something on success and failure and asked for comment. And said our aim is to be successful. Infect I get surprised when I hear people saying I want to be successful in my life. That what every kid says these days, and I just don't get the WORD itself.
And I realized talking about success and failure is just time pass and these words actually carry no meaning. Totally meaningless discovery of so called linguistics.
We have associated word success with happiness and in want to be "happy" we say we want to be successfull. Ideally there is nothing in the world called success or failure, it is just a burden of language which society has imparted on us.
None of us ever worked for success. If you recall, you will find you work either for some cause or for happiness. At times process of achieving that target we call success. But success here is process and not happiness. we don't work for success, it is just a definition, name it anything prime focus is self. These are just steps, for that matter any step you take in any direction will take you closer to something. And trust me anywhere you go, you will find happiness there, and will be happy, and you may also justify saying thats where I intended to come or destiny brought me (what ever happens, happens for good, holycrap), finding happiness is our nature, so is justifying everything. Many at times, we limit our happiness by tossing these words "success and failure". Imagine for a second that these words do not exist, throw them out of dictionary and your mind, you will suddenly realize that you are happier and even if you are among those who classify them self as highly successful. You will still realize that you are even more happy on eliminating these two words.
Time to unlearn these words, and make life simple.
