World is full of strangers, I spend 3 hours of my day traveling, on road, in metros, at most crowded stations. In those 3 hours, i hardly come across known faces, and average of 200-300 new faces every day. It may be much lesser then what many of us encounter. Point is I only see strangers. Known people I encounter at office, home, gym and in some social gathering. And if we calculate ratio of people we know and people we don't know. Its negligible fraction. We are among total strangers. Truth is you have absolutely no idea what is around you. You are living with just few assumptions.
What is that we really know, we know names of people, we know names of places, we know routes/maps, we know taste of dishes, we know characters of comics, serials, movies. We know few stories and... what else you really know in this world...
May be you know few more things such as formulas of physics, equation of chemistry. Or you may be knowing how to ride or drive or how to play some instrument or sing song or how to catch ball or how to change channel with remote. What else do you know?. In brief we know either few nouns ( names, route, things that we can see exist and we have give name to them) or we know few procedures ( playing, driving, cooking, typing, mailing, texting, convincing someone) thats it. Don't tell me you know laws of gravitation and attraction as truth is you don't :) and not just you, no body really does know it. We hav build theories on observation which is again getting used to what repeats. Most of us are actually USERS and not creators. We only know how to operate remote or drive car, even we hardly know about ourself, we only know how do we operate. We are users. Being user is at level 1, enjoying things but then you are totally dependent on creator. In India we hardly create we know certain procedures how to grow crop and make dish out of it, we are users again. We don't understand things what we know is how to use it, we don't understand our self but what we know is how to use our self, again everything is totally strange to us and we hardly know anything we are USERS. Then we have users of higher level who create missiles, LCD display, radars but again they are also users and not creators.
We are living in strange world where we know nothing about its principles and laws what we know is how to use it, which we learned over the years by hit and trial. Its like encounter of kid with most sophisticated spacecraft and kid find it ideal place to play hide and seek game initially and later in years he uses it as place for hiding from world and sitting quietly and then when grows older he used the place for meditation. He was user all his life, never understood true potential of the place he was sitting at, neither he could create it nor understand.
Untill and unless we do not explore how things work why they work the real nature of it, we can never explore its true potential, we would remain as users. Who end up using guitar as drum if never see others how they play. We do need someone who knows it and understand. We have too many philosophers just boosting about their version of spacecraft and influencing others as well. Then we have also defined GOD, master of universe, an entity which supposed to know what, where, when, how, why and so...Is god also USER or does he/she really understand it too. Is he just a super user and then we have super-god of gods(superusers), who knows things. Everything around you is something strange, totally unknown, its just that we got used to of it but we do not know it. Nothing is right or wrong, its all about adopting it.
